Rochester, Demon Hawks stay perfect; Wings and Bandits also pick up Week 9 wins

Two MASL 2 teams continued perfect seasons in Week 9, as the Rochester Lancers won their fourth and fifth games of 2023-24 and the Iowa Demon Hawks took their eighth win in a row.

The two teams are in different divisions so they won't meet in the regular season, but both teams are thinking about MASL 2's Championship Weekend which will be held April 4-7, hosted by the Wichita Wings at Hartman Arena.

Speaking of the Wings, they are almost perfect after a win Saturday. Their only blemish is an overtime loss in Amarillo in Week 8. Elsewhere, league leading goal scorer Angel Lopez continues to dominate, leading the Kansas Bandits to victory over the Bombers.
