Baltimore, Rochester, Utica, Orlando will battle for 2023-24 East Division crown

TAMPA, Fla – Two of the newest teams in Major Arena Soccer League 2 -- the Baltimore Arsenal and Utica's United Elite Krajisnik FC -- will kick off the 2023-24 East Division schedule on Dec. 9 in Baltimore

The Arsenal are the M2 affiliate of the MASL's Baltimore Blast, winners of 10 indoor soccer championships since debuting in 1980 in the original MISL, while United Elite will serve as the official affiliate of the MASL's Utica City FC.

The Rochester Lancers 2 will have their home opener on Friday, Feb. 2 when they take on Atletico Orlando; the two teams in the East this season. Utica’s home opener will also be against Orlando on Saturday, January 6 at the 1,500 seat Nexus Center, which last weekend hosted the MASL Combine. The United Elite will also play some of their games as doubleheaders with the MASL’s Utica City FC at the Adirondack Bank Center. Baltimore will also play some of its games as doubleheaders in conjunction with the Blast at the TU Arena.

Orlando will be road warriors this season, agreeing to play all their regular season games away from Florida in 2023-24 as they prepare an arena site for the 2024-25 campaign. That means Baltimore, Rochester and Utica will all play at home eight times.

"Knowing the ownership groups of all of these teams, they are all highly competitive and motivated to put a great product on the field, so the East should be a fascinating division to watch," said M2 Commissioner Chris Economides. "There should be plenty of intense games with all four of these teams, and the two teams left standing will certainly have earned their spot in the playoffs. "

The M2 regular season will once again be 12 games, with eight teams advancing the the league’s “Championship Weekend” April 4-7 at Hartman Arena in suburban Wichita, Kansas. Following is the complete schedule for each East Division team:
