Fury II Use Four Unanswered Goals To Win 7-5 In San Diego
Alvarez and Gonzalez Paces Ontario’s Move Into A First Place Tie With San Diego

SAN DIEGO (Sunday, January 7, 2018) - Ontario defeated San Diego 7-5 in a MASL 2 match at Valley View Casino Center on Sunday afternoon. The Fury II has won two straight over the Sockers 2 to move into a first-place tie in the Western Conference. Edgar Alvarez and Juan Carlos Gonzalez had two goals each to power Ontario. 

San Diego led 4-3 with 1:27 remaining in the third, but the Fury II tallied four unanswered goals to secure the win. The Sockers 2 defense was porous throughout the game, leaving goalkeeper Boris Pardo helpless against the Ontario attack. Forward Andy Lorei led San Diego with two goals. He raised his scoring streak to four games and leads the team in scoring with 14 points on 11 goals and three assists.

San Diego returns to action on Friday, 4:05 p.m., against the Colorado Inferno at Valley View Casino Center.
