MASL Mesquite Outlaws to host M2 Amarillo Bombers for two pre-season games

On Saturday, November 26th, the Amarillo Bombers (Major Arena Soccer League 2) will be traveling to  to play the Mesquite Outlaws (Major Arena Soccer League) in two pre-season matches. This will be a community event, open to the public, for a first chance look at the all-new Outlaws team. 

The two matches will be at 10 a.m. CST and 2 p.m. CST and will be played at the Mesquite Arena, located at 1818 Rodeo Drive, Mesquite, Texas 75149. Games are expected to be ran staged as regulation matche. Outlaw team officials have announced that parking and entry are free, and concessions will be open.

The Outlaws and Bombers are currently negotiating a  partnership and affiliation through both the Major Arena Soccer League and M2.. Details regarding the partnership are presently being finalized.

"We're thrilled that another MASL and M2 team are looking to the future together, not only to prepare for the upcoming season, but well beyond, to finalize a long-term relationship that is great for proper growth of pro indoor soccer in Texas and beyond," M2 Commissioner Chris Economides said. "With St. Louis and the Iowa Demon Hawls already having agreed to become affiliates, with more MASL teams than ever having their own M2 developmental teams,  with the beginning of this deal, and more MASL and M2 affiliations to come, it's exactly what we all want to see happen. It's all centered on the two leagues and their desire, in tandem, to raise the standards and expectations for this tremendous sport."

The Bombers will play a 12-game regular season schedule, with their season opener on the road Dec. 17 against the Colorado Inferno. Amarillo's home opener is Jan. 17 against the Wichita Wings. For more information, click HERE.
