MASL 2 Partners with Custom Football Marks to become Official Branding Partner

TAMPA, Florida – The Major Arena Soccer League 2 and Custom Football Marks have finalized a deal for the company to become the official branding partner of M2.

The collaboration will see Custom Football Marks provide the organization and member clubs with a range of team and market specific creative identity services from logo design through to brand strategy, helping to continue the positive growth of arena soccer.

M2 first took to the field in 2016 in association with the Major Arena Soccer League, North America’s highest level of arena soccer. The coast-to-coast leagues –  and in conjunction with Major Arena Soccer League 3  – have created for the first time ever an historic growth pyramid for the sport, building a pathway to the professional game in markets large and small across the United States. Just in the last two months, M2 has announced franchises in Chicago and Cleveland, and is anticipating additional announcements soon about other major metropolitan areas set to join the league.

“Arena soccer is a unique and fast-paced style of the game that we all love, and MASL  2 has attracted lots of attention over the years with a high quality and entertaining brand of soccer, and how it engages with fans and media,” said Liam Broad, Custom Football Marks creative director. “We are excited by this partnership and the impact that we can have across the continent, playing our part in expanding the profile of the league.”

M2 Commissioner Chris Economides said Custom Football Marks will be able to create branding programs that fit every team need.

“The Custom Football Marks team has impressed with their portfolio and ideas when it comes to modern brand building in the United States, and we are enthusiastic about how this partnership will help create an image that is specific to the excitement and uniqueness of indoor soccer,” Economides noted. “Indoor soccer has a long history in North America and this partnership has come at an exciting time for the sport as we look at existing and new markets, big and small, to provide more opportunities for players and fans to be involved and progress with the league.”

M2 continues its 2021 season with the resumption of the Great Lakes Invitational April 24 and 25 in Muskegon with three games. The winner of the GLI will automatically earn a berth in the league’s championship weekend set July 17 and 18 in Wichita.

The Cleveland Crunch will meet the Chicago Mustangs the afternoon of April 24, followed by Muskegon meeting the Colorado Inferno that evening. The Mustangs and Inferno will tangle at Mercy Health Arena in Muskegon on April 25. For more information, visit m2soccer.com.
