Local prep standout Garrett Kramer set to join Colorado Inferno

TAMPA, Fla. -- Although its been exciting to see some of the best players in the game sign with teams, the crux of Major Arena Soccer League 2 teams is and always will be finding, signing and developing future stars of the indoor game.

To that end, the Colorado Inferno have announced the signing of local standout Garett Kramer to an M@ contract in advance of the Inferno's late rush of home games to conclude the 2021 regular season.

Garrett is a graduate from Sand Creek High School in Colorado Springs where he won the Colorado High School  Golden Boot award his senior year netting 32 goals and was named the Prep Boys' Soccer Peak Performer of the Year in 2017 by the the Colorado Springs Gazzette.

Garrett went on to play at Colorado Mesa University and now has returned home to Colorado Springs and will continue his Soccer Dream with the Colorado Inferno FC in professional indoor soccer.

" I'm very excited to sign such a young talented player, he has been showing very well in training and has picked up the indoor game very quickly," Coach John Wells said. "I have known and Coached Garrett a few times over the years and we as an organization could not be happier to have him joining our team; we have high hopes for this young man and look for him to elevate our team."

With seven regular season games left, four of them for the Inferno are at home, starting this weekend with a visit by the Chiacgo Mustangs, and a May 22 visit by the Amarillo Bombers. In June, Colorado will host the rival Wichita Wings on June 26 and 27 at Soccerehuas in Colorado Springs.
