Inaugural M2 Season Kicks Off This Weekend

Opening Weekend has finally arrived for the MASL 2 also known as M2. The M2 is the Official Developmental League of the Major Arena Soccer League and currently boasts 1O teams across the United States.
Kicking off the season will be the Cincinnati Swerve who will host the Chicago Mustangs at 8:05pm EST at the GameTime Center on Saturday December 2nd.
Two Major Arena Soccer League teams, the Ontario Fury and San Diego Sockers, will both field teams in the new M2 and will face off the following night as opening weekend continues when the FURY II travel to play the Sockers 2 at Valley View Casino Center (Home of the San Diego Sockers) and will be streamed live via the San Diego Sockers Facebook page. Kick off is scheduled for 1:05pm PST.
Teams in M2 are split into two conferences, with 5 teams in the Eastern Conference, and 5 in the Western Conference. The top three teams from each conference will qualify for the post-season.
The Eastern Conference will feature the Chicago Mustangs, Cincinnati Swerve, Colorado Blizzard, Detroit Waza and Muskegon Risers.
The Western Conference will feature the Arizona Impact, Colorado Inferno, Las Vegas Knights, Ontario Fury II and San Diego Sockers 2.
Each team will play 6 games at home and 6 away, with limited amount of inter-conference play.
The regular season will end on Sunday March 4th highlighted by Western Conference rivals San Diego at Las Vegas in a playoff potential implication game. For more information, or to view the entire schedule, go to m2soccer.com.

ABOUT THE MAJOR ARENA SOCCER LEAGUE 2 (M2)
The MASL 2 was formed in 2017 and will serve as the official developmental league of the Major Arena Soccer League. The M2 and MASL represent the highest level of arena soccer in the world, and combined feature 26 teams across North America, with teams playing coast-to-coast in the United States, Mexico and Canada (Toronto to begin play in 2018).
