Hello Wichita! Ten games in three days to decide MASL 2 championship

Eight teams will play 10 games over three days this coming weekend to decide the 2023-24 Major Arena Soccer League 2 champions.

Hartman Arena in Park City, Kansas, home of the Wichita Wings, will serve as hosts for the frenzy of indoor soccer. Ticket information is available by clicking HERE. The Wings were one of three MASL 2 teams to submit bids last fall to host the playoffs, with Wichita far outdistancing the other two cities in a vote of team owners.

Games Friday:

10 a.m. CDT      El Paso Rhinos Uno Seis vs Amarillo Bombers

1 p.m. CDT        Rochester Lancers vs Iowa Raptors

4 p.m. CDT        Iowa Demon Hawks vs St. Louis Ambush 2

7 p.m. CDT        Wichita Wings vs Atletico Orlando

Saturday's schedule will also be games at 10, 1, 4 and 7, with the consolation finals set for 1 p.m. Sunday, with the championship game set to kickoff at 4 p.m. CDT.

Two teams turned in perfect regular seasons in their respective divisions -- the Iowa Demon Hawks in the North and Rochester Lancers in the East -- while the host Wings were 11-0-1, losing only in overtime to Amarillo during the regular season. In addition, El Paso comes in having won seven of it's last right games, including an 8-7 win in their regular season finale over Amarillo in what served as a potential preview for their first round matchup.

A full preview of the post-season will be available later this week.
