Battle of Ohio, home games for Inferno, Runners, Mustangs highlight Week 7
TAMPA, Fla. -- A battle for bragging rights in Ohio, along with home games for Chicago, New Mexico and Coloardo highlight the Week 7 schedule in Major Arena Soccer League 2.
The defending champion Cleveland Crunch will be looking for their second straight home win after topping the Muskegon Risers last weekend, 10-5. Mike Dezeric, in his first game of the year, banged in six goals -- including five in the first half and his sixth on a chip from near the midfield line -- and leads the Cleveland offense in goals.
The BC Swerve will provide the opposition, taking to the floor for the first time since the M2 season opener back in mid December. The Swerve built a 6-2 lead over Muskegon in that one, but the Risers stormed back with four goals in the final 11 minutes to win 9-7. Andrej Novakovic had the hat trick to lead the Swerve, while Kalu Abass had two goals and an assist.

The New Mexicor Runners (1-5) will host the RGV Barracudas, who will be on the road for a pair this weekend, with a Sunday matchup in Colorado against the Inferno. The Runners pulled off the big surprise of the M2 season so far by knocking off the previously unbeaten Wichita Wings last weekend. They are led by Sergio Fuentes who has 11 goals and four assists.HIs 11 goals are tops so far this year in the league.
The Barracudas (2-0) opened with two home victories last weekend. Information on the game broadcast can be found HERE prior to kickoff, which is Saturday at 5:05 p.m. MST.

Nestor Dominguez is leading the Chicago attack with four goals and an assist. Muskegon's Ryan Zietlow is second in M2 in goals with 10. The Risers come in at 2-3.
